Archiving Policy

This policy describes the publication archive managed by Algebra: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Sains. It distinguishes platform archiving from author deposits and independent digital preservation.

1. Archive Content

The journal archive should retain published articles, bibliographic metadata, supplementary files, and editorial notices. Confidential submissions and peer-review records must remain outside the public archive.

2. Maintenance and Recovery

Yayasan Amanah Nur Aman, as publisher, should coordinate file checks, secure backups, and periodic recovery testing. Backup arrangements should cover publication files and their associated metadata.

Backups support technical recovery; they do not establish independent preservation or guarantee access if the platform closes.

3. Integrity of Published Records

Corrections and retractions must remain linked to the affected articles. Platform migrations should retain identifiers, publication history, and working links.

4. Preservation Information

Any independent preservation service should be named only after participation and coverage have been verified.
