ALLEGATIONS OF MISCONDUCT

Allegations of Misconduct

Algebra: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Sains assesses research and publication integrity concerns before and after publication. An allegation does not establish misconduct.

1. Reporting a Concern

Contact the editorial office through the journal's Contact page. Include:

  • The article title, DOI, or submission identifier.
  • A specific explanation of the concern.
  • Supporting evidence or source links.
  • Any handling conflict or confidentiality concern.

2. Initial Assessment

An editor without a relevant conflict reviews the report and requests clarification where necessary. Specific anonymous reports may also be assessed. New evidence may justify reopening a previously closed report.

3. Fair Process

Relevant parties normally receive an opportunity to respond. Preliminary checks may first be necessary to protect participants or preserve evidence. Information is shared only as needed for appropriate handling.

4. Further Examination

Credible concerns may lead to additional editorial examination or referral to an institution. Processing may pause during assessment; this is not a finding of misconduct.

5. Published Records

Any correction, expression of concern, or retraction follows the journal's applicable policies.
