CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Conflicts of Interest

Algebra: Jurnal Pendidikan, Sosial dan Sains requires disclosure of relationships that could affect, or appear to affect, research or editorial judgment. Disclosure alone does not establish misconduct.

1. Relevant Interests

Disclose relevant employment, consultancy, payments, ownership, patents, sponsor involvement, personal relationships, collaborations, supervisory roles, disputes, and journal appointments. Seek editorial guidance when uncertain.

2. Author Declarations

Every author must disclose relevant interests. Include a manuscript statement identifying affected authors and relationships, or explicitly declare that none exist. Update disclosures when circumstances change.

3. Funding

Separately identify financial and in-kind support, grant details, and the funder's role. State when no specific funding was received. Funding information does not replace a competing-interest declaration.

4. Editors and Reviewers

Editors and reviewers must report conflicts promptly. Independent editorial oversight determines reassignment or safeguards. Editors cannot decide their own submissions; reviewers must decline assignments with disqualifying conflicts.

5. Management and Updates

Responses may include published disclosures, independent reassessment, or reassignment. Undisclosed interests require contextual assessment and, where necessary, correction or integrity review.
